companioncube0:

I was at Walgreens buying my brother a birthday card. An elderly woman was also in the aisle. She said “can you believe they have wedding cards for two men and look even two women!”
[screams internally]
But she then said “I’ve seen so many changes in my 80 years, it’s wonderful how things are moving forward.”
[internal tears of joy]
She then mentioned that she didn’t know any gay people but that everyone should be treated like they would want to be treated. I smiled and said “you know one now” and pointed at myself. She smiled, patted my shoulder and said “now I do”.

Do you have any relationship advice? My boyfriend and I broke up but I want him back...what should I do?

Asked by: Anonymous

It’s hard to give advice when you don’t know the whole story. But what I can tell you is that it’s normal to want to go back. That will pass. You just need to get over the initial hurt. Give the relationship and yourself space and time. I understand the want to have that person back. But just hold on to the knowledge that it gets easier and you’ll be stronger on the other side of what you’re feeling right now.

Everyone deserves nothing less than to be someone’s everything. Someone is out there waiting to make you their everything. Just be patient.

Do something embarrassing for me. And laugh a lot. ILY

I did the cupid shuffle in my back yard at 1:30 in the morning. I also taught my brother the choreography for My Girl by The Temptations and was told I didn’t know the choreography for Bye, Bye, Bye. So, naturally I had to prove that I do indeed still have the moves. I don’t remember a time last night I wasn’t laughing.

Does all that count?

By getting a degree in music communications what do you hope to do? Marketing for a venue or for band? Or what other options do you have with that degree? :D :D

Asked by: Anonymous

It’s a commercial music degree, which covers all of the facets in today’s industry. From audio engineering, marketing, instrumental, artist management, venue management, legal and more.

When I graduate I want to work in the marketing department for Big Machine Records. Perhaps do some production on the side. Being in the studio is one of my favorite places to be in the entire world. It’s just magical. I’ve also considered managing an artist or band. I’ve worked with two local artists already, and I love them to pieces, but artists are a special breed, man. lol So, yeah, marketing, production and management.

Thanks!
